Holding the Man
When Tim, an aspiring actor, meets John, a star football player, he knows that he’s in love. But the course of true love never runs smooth, especially when your love is forbidden. Beginning in 1976, Holding the Man follows Tim and John as they grow together through their fifteen-year relationship in the midst of the AIDS epidemic. We watch them face separation, temptation, jealousy and loss in an exploration of the homosexual experience. Based on the memoir by Timothy Conigrave, this touching tale will be sure to charm and make you hold your loved ones close.
